Avoid the use of harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials

Do not place hot items directly on surface; use coasters under beverage to prevent marks and stains; use mats or runners beneath hard objects that might scratch the surface

Avoid direct sunlight and heat to prevent premature fading

We recommend maintaining constant ambient humidity levels to minimize seasonal expansion and contraction of the wood

As a natural and porous material, travertine can be nicked, stained or scratched; avoid touching sharp objects on the surface
